Nice to meet you!

Had you asked me in my 20s if I would become a consultant, I would have smiled and cocked an eyebrow! I was studying German, European and ITM Law with the aim of becoming a diplomat – a path I ultimately abandoned when I accepted my passion for developing and driving people and organizations.

All through my studies, I worked in the European Youth Parliament, a European NGO with over 3.000 active members, ultimately shaping the organization heading the organization in the national and international governing boards. It was here that I started my journey in organizational and people development, experiencing first-hand the challenges, and joy!, of shaping and moving a diverse group of people brought together by a shared passion.

After working a number of years in corporate HR and technology, I have spent the past decade in consultancy, working on leadership development, business and cultural transformation, as well as HR and talent strategy in senior project responsibility and management roles. My clients’ projects have taken me to (nearly) all continents, and I have found special joy in working in international project teams – in German, English, Dutch and French.

Born in New Zealand, and raised both there and in Germany, I try to bring both my identities to each project, humility, resourcefulness and community paired with structure, honesty and dutifulness. These traits have held me in good stead with project partners from social start-ups to major international corporations and governmental bodies.

My internal management experiences have given me familiarity with the day-to-day challenges faced by managers and teams not only from a consultant's perspective, but also from my own experience. I am happily married with two children and live in rolling hills south-east of Cologne.
